Step 1: Get started with Windows Movie Maker

1. Install Windows Movie Maker

Step 2: Create a new project

It will auto-create a project with 16:9, you can change the ratio with click"File"-"New Project".

Step 3: Import media files

Click "+" to import video clips,and drag them to the timeline track.

Drag the video clips at the timeline video track, to make a movie storyboard.

Step 4: Add music

Click the "Music" icon, and choose one music to add to your video, or you can import from your folder.

Step 5: Add visual effects

1. Click the "text" icon, and select text to add.

   
   

2. Click the "transition" icon, choose transitions to add, it will make each video clips trans more smooth.

   
   

3. Click the "filter" icon, select filters to add the video clip, it will make the video clip more vivid.

   
   

4. Click the "overlays" icon, select the build-in overlayer video to add to any position, it will make some part of the video more atmosphere。

   
   

   
   

   
   

Step 6: Export

1. Click the  "Export" button to export the video, select the format and size, and export it.
